It goes against every ounce of my being to see a movie before I’ve read the book.
As for the world’s most popular wizard, Harry Potter, I have to confess I saw the movies first. In fact I’ve only just finished reading the first book over the school holidays.
I think it’s my age. When they first came out I was 19 and at uni and too busy painting the town red to read sensible books.
I’ve since discovered that it’s such a fabulous series, and we’re about to buy the second book and keep reading.
So you can imagine my delight when Warner Bros. Consumer Products asked if they could send me some Harry Potter Tween apparel to review and then give away TWO sets!
Of course my tween daughter is Gryffindor mad and unhappily modelled the range for me.
No that wasn’t a typo. She was happy for two minutes and then lost it. It was about 35C and she was NOT in the mood for trying on clothes.
We are going through ‘that stage’ where I am the idiot she eye rolls at a thousand times a day. Anyway, we got through it, with some help from her brother.
Who I might add looks quite the part in the Harry Potter hoodie and track pants. The clothes are available exclusively at Big W and are priced from just $15.
Can I just add the fabric quality is good and the shirts have some lovely embellishments.
But first, introducing my two models….. (I really wanted to publish the one of my daughter giving me the evil eye but thought better of it, digital footprint and all that)
If you know someone who is a die-hard Harry Potter fan, then you MUST leave a comment below and be in the chance to win a set.
What you will get…
- A pair of Harry Potter Track Pants – $19
- The Harry Potter Raglan Tee – $15
- Harry Potter Hoodie – $25
- A Harry Potter Long-Sleeve Tee – $15
The range would make great sports gear and the T-shirts are nice and lightweight. As for the track pants and hoodie, my son has already claimed those as his.
His love of fleece is STRONG!
So all you have to do to be in with a chance is answer this question….
Who is your favourite Harry Potter character and why?
